Greeters and Ushers Ministry
The Greeters and Ushers Ministry is an essential part of creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at our parish. Greeters and ushers serve as the first point of contact for parishioners and visitors attending Mass, making everyone feel welcome and ensuring that each person is greeted with warmth and kindness. Their role is crucial in fostering a sense of belonging and community within our church.
Volunteers in this ministry assist with a variety of tasks, including welcoming attendees at the entrance, helping them find seating, distributing bulletins, and providing information about the parish. They also help maintain an orderly flow during the Mass, guiding the congregation during the collection, Communion, and other parts of the service. In addition, greeters and ushers are prepared to assist with any special needs, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and included.
If you have a friendly and approachable demeanour and a heart for hospitality, we encourage you to join the Greeters and Ushers Ministry. Your presence and kindness can make a significant difference in helping people feel at home in our parish community. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the Church Office. Your involvement will help us continue to be a welcoming community that reflects the love of Christ to all who enter our doors.
