Funeral Servers Ministry
The Funeral Servers Ministry provides compassionate and essential support during funeral services, helping to ensure that these sacred moments are conducted with reverence and dignity. Funeral servers assist the priest and grieving families by setting up for the liturgy, preparing the altar, and serving during the Mass. They play a vital role in creating a prayerful atmosphere that honours the deceased and offers comfort to those who mourn.
Volunteers in this ministry are trained to perform various tasks, such as carrying the cross, holding candles, assisting with incense, and guiding the congregation during the funeral rites. Their presence and service help the family and friends of the deceased to focus on prayer and reflection, knowing that the liturgical details are being handled with care and respect.
If you have a compassionate heart and a desire to support families during their time of loss, we invite you to consider joining the Funeral Servers Ministry. Your service will bring comfort to grieving families and contribute to the sacredness of the funeral liturgy. To learn more or to volunteer, please contact the Church Office. Your involvement will help ensure that every funeral is a meaningful and grace-filled experience for all who attend.
