First Reconciliation Preparation Ministry
The First Reconciliation Preparation Ministry is committed to guiding children as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) for the first time. This sacrament is a beautiful encounter with God's mercy, offering the opportunity for forgiveness and spiritual renewal. Through this ministry, children learn about God's unconditional love and the importance of seeking reconciliation with Him and others.
Volunteers in this ministry play a vital role in teaching children about the nature of sin, the need for repentance, and the healing power of God's forgiveness. Through engaging lessons, discussions, and activities, the children are encouraged to reflect on their actions, understand the value of forgiveness, and learn how to make a good confession. This preparation helps them approach the sacrament with a sincere heart and a desire for a closer relationship with God.
If you feel called to help our young parishioners experience God's love and mercy through this important sacrament, we invite you to join the First Reconciliation Preparation Ministry. Your guidance and support can make a meaningful difference in their spiritual journey. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the Church Office. Your involvement will help our children understand the joy of forgiveness and the peace that comes from being reconciled with God and the Church community.
