First Eucharist Preparation Ministry
The First Eucharist Preparation Ministry is dedicated to helping young members of our parish community prepare to receive their First Holy Communion, a sacred and joyful milestone in their spiritual journey. This ministry provides instruction and guidance to children and their families as they learn about the significance of the Eucharist—the true presence of Christ in the form of bread and wine—and its central place in the Catholic faith.
Volunteers in this ministry play a crucial role in teaching children about the Mass, the importance of the Eucharist, and how to receive Holy Communion with reverence and understanding. Through interactive lessons, activities, and discussions, they help the children grow in their love for Jesus and develop a deeper appreciation for the gift of the Eucharist. This preparation process also involves guiding families to participate more fully in the sacramental life of the Church, fostering a sense of belonging and spiritual growth within the parish community.
If you are passionate about sharing the faith and helping children understand the beauty of the Eucharist, we invite you to join the First Eucharist Preparation Ministry. Your involvement can make a lasting impact on the spiritual lives of our young parishioners. To learn more about how you can help or to volunteer, please contact the Church Office. Your dedication will help our children experience the joy and grace of receiving Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time!
